Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent. For 40 days we will focus on prayer, fasting and alms giving as we prepare to celebrate the joy of Christ's resurrection on Easter.
Prayer on Ash Wednesday - Lord, as I embark on this spiritual campaign of forty days, help me to convert my heart more and more to you, not so as to be noticed by others but solely for love of you who have given everything for love of me. Amen.

This morning our kindergarten students planned our Ash Wednesday Mass. This is the first Mass they have been responsible for and they did an excellent job as lectors, presenting the gifts as well as singing and participating fully.

The fifth grade has witnessed new life arriving at St. Clement! As part of their study of life cycles, they incubated 24 fertilized eggs and we have successfully watched 13 chicks hatch! Welcome to Ron, Little and the rest of the flock!

Our tiny cetenarians look very spry on the 100th day of school!

Tomorrow is our 100th day of school! Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade may come to school dressed as parents or grandparents. We cannot wait to celebrate!
