Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent. For 40 days we will focus on prayer, fasting and alms giving as we prepare to celebrate the joy of Christ's resurrection on Easter. Prayer on Ash Wednesday - Lord, as I embark on this spiritual campaign of forty days, help me to convert my heart more and more to you, not so as to be noticed by others but solely for love of you who have given everything for love of me. Amen.

Ash Wednesday
This morning our kindergarten students planned our Ash Wednesday Mass. This is the first Mass they have been responsible for and they did an excellent job as lectors, presenting the gifts as well as singing and participating fully.
