Our amazing second and third graders, thanks to the creativity of our teachers Ms. Nicole Roach and Ms. Devon Miller, really got into the spirit of Thanksgiving! Not only did the children perform a presentation that informed their audience of the history and meaning of Thanksgiving but also celebrated the relationships between their classes by sharing a feast together. Students dressed either as Native Americans or Pilgrims and learned about the cultures they were representing and compared and contrasted language, clothing styles, history and way of life. From our second and third graders to you, Happy Thanksgiving!
